Check out this little lady Lydia Jane. She was the photographer at our wedding and has a picture from our wedding at the top of her newly designed blog! Josie was the one that informed me that we were now famous. :) Also check out Lydia's pictures from a show Josie, Jesse and I went to yesterday (cause I didn't take any!!!). Let me just say the boys in Blackbird Lewis are gifted. They have more talent then I could ever dream to have. One of my favorite past times is to people watch, and one group of people that really fascinates me is photographers and the stealth like way they walk around a room capturing moments. Lydia, I love how you pursue that gift the Lord has given you and use it to bless those you love. ps-thanks for making us famous!

Introducing.... one of the first gburgers I ever met and who has the sweetest heart. As long as I've known Elise she has thrown herself into serving her family and the local church. She has such a love for people, which is one of the things I love to see in people. Elise is very kind to answer all my emails of questions about Covlife. :) Many...if not all of my trips down here prior to marrying Jeremy it was Elise and her family that hosted me. They have this killer room in the basement....way better then any hotel. I'm soooo happy that this little lady will be in my life for many years to come (cause our boys are best buddies...which means WE get to be best buddies).

4. what is currently on your things to read list? John Adams, any of the Edward Eager books, and Harry Potter.
5. how do we know each other? Well, I met Sharpie when she was in MD with her family for Pastors College. And after she moved back to Philly, a few of us CLCers went up to visit. That's when I met Ange :) And I seriously remember being jealous because the other girls I went with got to spend more time with her than I did. Ha! But ever since we've been such lovely friends! And we've just so happened to marry/be engaged to two best buds, which means she's stuck with me :P
(Side Note: I would also just like to say, after that visit I brought Jer with me the next time I went to Philly, and THAT was when they met. I should totally get credit for the whole thing.)
6. if you could star in a musical which one would it be, and what character would you play? Beauty and the Beast. Umm Belle!
7. taylor swift or carrie underwood? Neither!
8. Favorite tv series? Miss Marple or The Brady Bunch
9. if you could choose 4 famous people (dead or alive) to have dinner with, who would you pick? John Williams, Laura Bush, my cousin Janice, and Julie Andrews.
10. what is something on your bucket list you haven't accomplished yet? Going to Ireland! Someday...
11. biggest change or goal in 2009? Getting married :D

mushy gushy

Last year I gave Jer this a card for Valentine's day that said the following:

"Okay, so this is a Valentine's Day car. And yes, I know all of the assumptions that go along with giving said card. But don't worry. This isn't one of those mushy gushy, you're-the-only-one-for-me, my-life-began-when-I-met-you type cards. This is just a, 'hey, you're cool and I kinda like you card, minus all the I-wanna-have-your-babies stuff. I'm not saying you're 'my soul mate' or 'my one true love.' I don't wanna make you run down the aisle, count the stars in the sky, or clutch a box of tissues in your hand as you read this. All I want to say is, 'you're neat and I think you're starting to grow on me.'"

Ha, it still cracks me up everytime I read it. And Jer you did become my one true love and you are the only one for me. I still think you are pretty cool, love your guts.

Saturday night Jer and I headed over to hang out with the Brewer kids. We had lots of fun with them, most of the pictures were taking by Mikaela, she is a photographer in case you didn't know! :)

Till bedtime little Miss Sarah played in that house with Jeremy. She liked him best. I was the mean one who made her go to bed. :)

Dave Brewer (their old man) was Jeremy's youth pastor. And Jen his wife is very cool. Jer said on the way home, talking with Jen is like hanging out with one of our friends. Jen I hope to get to know you more! I told Jer I want to be like you when I'm a mom someday, completely calm in the midst of organized chaos. As I've been watching you walk through this trial with Sarah from a distance I've learn so much about your faith and trust in the Lord. We continue to pray for you and your girlie.

Introducing the hilarious, nice hair, best speller I know, multi-talented Traci. In life everyone has favorite people, and Traci is on my top 10 list. Traci and I were on the youth admin team together back in the day and eventually both worked at the church together. We almost had a double wedding to follow in the footsteps of Maria and Kathy, but we settled with one month apart. Favorite memories: Twelve-three foot hoagies and one bag of chips, "We are here and Bolivia is here we need to get everyone there and we have this this and this", NA road trip'06, Purple Parrot and watching labyrinth. 7. taylor swift or carrie underwood? Definitely Taylor Swift. I want to see her in concert because her tour includes several costume changes and a fairy tale castle. Isn't that amazing? We should go together and sing "wishin on a shooting star!"

8. Favorite tv series? I don't know that I have a favorite right now. I like to watch Jon and Kate plus 8. Rick and I watch Heroes and Fringe together but I usually fall asleep so I never know what's happening. But my guilty pleasure is The City.

9. if you could choose 4 famous people (dead or alive) to have dinner with, who would you pick? Ronald and Nancy Reagan (I'm counting them as one), Jimmy Stewart, Elisabeth Elliot, Bono. I would also like to have dinner with you and Josie.

10. what is something on your bucket list you haven't accomplished yet? Lots of things! One I want to accomplish soon is driving down the California coast in a convertible.

11. biggest change or goal in 2009? Becoming a mom! Stopping work at the church! Finding a house! Surviving labor and delivery! It's going to be a big year.
